Please note that Case Book Females No.4 and No.13 are missing, presumed destroyed by the developers during destruction of the site. The story of how these books were rescued in itself is amazing. Julian Pooley of the Surrey History Museum drove to the building site following a tip off that workmen were destroying history. He grabbed whatever he could, throwing books into the boot of his car for the archives.
